damm...either my age is really catching up to me, or facing the comp almost 24x7 relli paid off...I am officially wearing specs (at times) from today onwards...

went to the optical shop last week cos my gf needed to change her glasses..instead i end up having to need one myself after taking the eyesight test...apparently both my eyes oso got astig, so its recommended to wear glasses during work and at night while driving...mebe it's not much of a hoohaa to most of u ppl out there, but to me, i am always happy that i have such good eyesight even that i am facing comp all day long n reading books at dim lighting and so on, but probably now is the payoff time...sigh...

well, just got my pair of glasses a while ago, and was wearing it uncomfortably over my face for the last 2 hours...although i can see sharper image now (not that i actually noticed i was seeing things with slight blur before this...), but its painful and annoying to have something hanging over your face for long hours, which is y i seldom even wear sunnies...

oh well, oni lucky thing is that i dun have short/long-sighted problems, else i will prob need them 24x7...now i am just gonna use them sparingly...just need sometime to get use of the irritation on my head n on my ears...sigh...

Recently i've heard this song "Stop and Stare" by One Republic, and somehow the lyrics just caught my attention straight-on...

I been giving in a lot of thought lately, to make a move, to have a change... I've been working in the same company for 3years plus, and i do say i really enjoyed the work here, with all the wonderful colleagues and frens that i've met throughout each and every engagement, be it the client or the financial audit teams...

But somehow things just been stagnant recently...somehow my learning curve is just not curving up anymore, i feel like just working for the sake of completing each task assigned. It used to be where i would enjoy doing it, learning things up as i perform each task, but now, it just plain redundancy day in day out. My career path here is still on-going, with yearly promotion and so, but yet, somehow, i dun think that i am progressing anymore...i feel just like the lyrics "i think i am moving but i go no where"...also due to that alot of my colleagues of similar batch have all moved on to other companies, be it local or abroad...so it makes me think, why am i here n not there or elsewhere...why am i still staying here?? every year i been telling my frens, 'yea, will be quiting soon', but yet every other year i repeat the same answer...probably i am too comfortable here, until i've gotten lazy...abit too lazy...

So its really the time for me to change, i have really made up my mind, to ACTIVELY look for new jobs, new opportunities and a new lifestyle...

sigh, its only 2 more days till chinese new year, yet for the past 2 weeks that i've been through, i really need the new year to arrive asap to wash all the bad luck away...

for some reason, these past 2 weeks, apart from being the bad-enough-extreme-hectic-peak season for my line of work, bad luck just seem to be able to get the better of me...to summ things up:-

1) met an accident on a sat evening 2 weeks ago, with my car bumping into the side of a myvi which was cutting out rather fast from an alley lane to the main road, but due to that the alley lane to main road is still considered a straight road, so i am to be blamed for the fault, although i do admit that its my wrong as well as i was not paying enough attention to the small alley road leading out...thus i have to fork up $$$ for both car's damage repair (am not claiming insurance as its not worth the lowering of the ncb)...sigh, there goes partial of my bonus...

2)my car seems to be acting up as well recently even after all the maintenance n servicing i hav done...the whole car is coughing up weird with noise here n there, even the air con is acting weird, which suddenly the air just wont get cold n the next instance its ok again...as the accident damaged the left side of my headlights, i've gotten it fixed, but somehow the lights angle (or brightness) just seems so wrong n diff from the other side, its like 1 side is shining higher (or brighter) then the other. when i went back to the mechanic, he say tats the best he could do...wtf... now i hav to go search for another mechanic, but as its CNY, looks like my car will hav to stay in this manner till after CNY...sigh...

3) my brother oso met an accident on a sat evening just last week, with a teenager cutting out from a inner road to the main (straight) road which my bro was driving past. The ignorant teenager was arrogant enough to defy being wrong in the situation no matter wat all the people was saying, saying that he is in the right and refusing to pay for the damage. Thus it all ended up to the police station and the stupid teen was accused of the wrong by the police and have to pay up a RM300 saman apart from having to settle the damage to my brother's car. If he had admitted to the wrong-doing and agree to pay up front, he wont even be landed the saman, thus thats the cost of his arrogant manner...but no-thx to him, now my bros car is still with the mechanics, hopefully he can get it back before CNY...

3) as most would hav known, i am quite a fish hobbist and hav numerous tanks in my house... there is one big tank outside, housing bout 10 big fishes (koi, lampang n others)...yet somehow the aquarium pump got stuck at the middle of the nite, unable to produce air bubbles which helps in providing oxygen to the tank, thus due to the lack of oxygen, most of the big fishes that has been with us for the past few years died...now the tank just seem so empty with the few remaining big fishes, problem is, its hard to add additional fishes as unless i get similar size fish (which are costly), else smaller sized fish cant be added as they will be bullied (mostly till death) by these big fishes...sigh...

4) as i tot that everything is going to be better, another case of mysterious power plug loosening happened to water filter system in my room's planted tank, causing another massive lack of oxygen case and death toll this round are about 30 small fishes, most of them are the cardinal tetras, which are the prized (and costly) fishes of this particular tank...currently my tank is still in the recovering mode, hopefully now with additional oxygen input, the remaining fishes are able to recover by tomolo...

ok, these might not sound as veli 'suey' to most of u ppl out there, but to me, it does feel like it... the only good news i had so far is that my gf is finally transferring back to KL to work at General Hospital after the 1 year plus stint at seremban n kuala pilah...

oh well, CNY is just round the corner n i am counting down the hours till it arrives...hopefully with this joyous festive celebration, i am able to wash away all my bad luck, n mebe get some good luck back again as per the chinese saying 否极泰来 meaning "good things will come after all the bad things has ended"...

its a brand new year...the year 2008...

hav ushered away the old year via the same way as the previous year, having a mini bbq session at JunShann's house. this round the brotherhood is more complete as Yeos is around as with KokHau and Shann, too bad HunYee cant make it back, else it would have been a pretty nice 'quad-pair couple' picture. ZePin n SeeSeong oso came for the fun, with Chongi crashing in after the midnite count to help finish off the remaining food. As the bbq session was quite last minute, we oni did our groceries shopping an hour prior to meeting up at Shann's place. as it was sooo last minute, we had the bbq without the normal chicken wings as it was fully sold out at both tesco n giant...thankfully there were still some prepacked ayamas chicken wings left at the frozen food section. Only problem is tat these wings were already partially cooked and extremely hard to be poked into the bbq stick as the meat keeps coming off...yet all was fun as i managed to cook up some redwine-garlicbutter-steamed prawns, which got the smell but not the taste, nonetheless, it was finished off quite fast, mostly by me though...haha

well, new year have since just arrived, and yet i have already spent a chunk of my bonuses on some new stuff, featuring the CO2 canister injection system to replace my old DIY method and a new desktop with a 19" lcd screen.

The CO2 system cost me a whopping RM520 in total, but its at a cheap rate considering i have bought the 2.5liter aluminium canister at RM250 as compared to market price of RM400 and the rest of the parts with the solenoid which i can use a timer to control the release of gas as the lights is on. I would say i have saved up about RM300 if i am to get these stuff off the normal pet stores. All thx to my mom's fren who is able to help obtain these stuff straight out from the manufacturing plant...although the price to pay is rather steep for a hobby, but at least now i can be assured that my plants are fed with the needed amount of CO2, and apart from seeing my plants growing healthily, i can even see streams of oxygen bubbles being generated by my plants, and trust me, thats something i can sit still n watch for hours..oks, mebe not hours but u get wat i meant.

As for the desktop, i got it off the citibank airasia credit card package, whereby just at RM440, u are given a complete compaq presario desktop set with specs of AMD sempron 3200, 256ram, 80gb hdd with the rest integrated. i've upgrade the normal 17" crt to 19" lcd monitor with an additional 399 thru HP(compaq) as well. But the 'wonderful thing is that, when the pc arrived, i've found out that they've given me the upgraded package of the pc (which by right need to add another RM160 for the upgrade) to sempron 3800+ and 512ram. i've also manually added in another 2gb of ram, and old DVD writer and a new graphic card (Geforce 8600GT which runs on directx10), topping another RM700++ altogether with a new Edifier C2 speaker system in total. So now i've gotten myself an equally steady pc at just RM1600 as compare to market price of proabably RM2000++ for the same things...talk about savings...only headache is that it come preinstalled with windows vista and all drivers are vista based only (unless i go to each manufacturing website to obtain the xp ones), so i have no choice but the give vista a tryout chance even after all the horror stories i've heard about it...

oh, and another thing is tat the sleek lcd screen manage to clear off my desk (as compared to my old bulky-spacehogging-crt), allowing me to finally showcase all of the mini figurines that i've bought or tat were given to me as presents...mostly naruto by the way...haha

oh well, with all these new stuff, i still have most of the old resolutions from past year...lets hope that i can achieve most (if not all) of them in this year...

1) eat healthier n sleep earlier...
2) diet to shape up my flabbiness...
3) injury free from sports...
4) change of working environment or job nature...
5) get a nice property (landed if possible) or look for investment chances...
6) build up better rapport with friends, family and colleagues...

and lastly...
7) not to be soooooo lazy (at times)...

yups..its the big day again of the year, my birthday...but no celebrations will be happening today as i will be on my journey as a nomad yet again. But, things ain't that bad as i've already pre-celebrated with my gf the day before...hehe

Been traveling alot lately, living the life as a nomad. Lets see, for the past 5 weeks:-

Week1 - s'pore for holiday...
Week2 - johor for work then s'pore to meet up with frens and end up spraining my ankle...
Week3 - back in KL, MC for a week to rest my leg...
Week4 - johor again to complete the work...
Week5 - penang and back to KL on the weekends to do some stuffs...
Week6 - goin to penang again and comin back on friday for firm's Annual Dinner and Dance, then will be off to A-Famosa for dept. trip...

Have been moving or i should say limping around, as i've BADLY sprained my ankle during my short visit to my frens at Singapore after my johor job. We played bball in the morning and as i was happily testing out my new Team Mac3 shoe, i accidentally stepped on my fren's foot on my landing. "KRik KrAK"...those were the sounds i heard and from then on, i've been limping around, which is approximately 3weeks ++ as of today. It's been really a long time since i last sprained my leg, and even though i am quite injury prone, usually its my hand that had problems, not my leg, n not as serious as this roundas well...oh well, guess its really high time for me to slow down on all these heavy duty sports...

Well, will be off to penang again later this morning, and once i finish this job, it will mark the end of my nomad days for the year. Not that i am complaining though, actually if not for the exhaustion part, its quite fun actually to get to travel around, earn mileage claim and stay in nice hotel and eat good food (only applicable for the current penang job...and jap food is not as fattening...i hope...)...oh well, no matter how, a job is still a job, whether its good or bad, tiring or fun, its still a job that needs to be completed in time at the end of the day...tats all that matters (to the company anyway)...

Just came back from my singapore trip recently with my gf. Quite alot have changed since i last visited, which was back in 1992. I especially liked their public transportation, its sooooo convenient especially with the ezlink card in place.

Few interesting things that i've noticed there:-

1) the lifts are much faster at the MRT stations as compared to others, probably to accommodate the load of people using it...

2) MRT stands's bus stop have the barrier queue area for different bus number, so ppl wont get confused for which line to queue up for their buses...

3) Cable car to sentosa is $15.90 for 1 way and $16.90 for 2 way, diff by $1 only...

4) When the traffic light signals green for pedestrian crossing, cars goin straight will stop, but the cars turning from the other side of the road will not be aware of this and can still proceed to knock you over...

Anyway, had an enjoyable time although been rushing from places to places. We took the First Coach bus from BU at 3pm and reached Novena at 9pm at thursday (deepavali) and came back on Sunday at 8am in the morning to BU. The ride is pretty comfy for the price of RM115 (2-way) pax. Thx to my best pal Yeos, i managed to saved on the accommodation part. As we only had 2 full days to roam around, we went to considerably quite a number of locations:-

Day 1
Esplanade and Merlion - roamed around for pics session...
Orchard Road's numerous shopping complexes - satisfy my gf's shopping needs...
Singapore Zoo - donate blood to mosquito n see cute furry animals...

Underwater world and dolphin lagoon - satisfy my fishy world affection...

Queensway shopping center - to hunt for basketball shoes, managed to get a pair of Adidas TMac3 at the end
Geylang - Astooers gathering for beef hor-fun n YongHe soyabean/yaucharkwai as well as walking around the roads with skimpily dressed bunch standing by the road side...
Mustafa center - extremely HUGE Indian store tat sells everything from gold/jewelry to electrical/electronics to groceries and cosmetics and sports and...the list neva ends...

Tiring but extremely enjoyable, but funs over n its time to get back to work again. Can only hope i still noe how to perform my work correctly..haha...

ZzzzoooommMMmmm....thats how fast the week went by...my 2 weeks holiday is now left with oni 4 days, n counting down by the minute...

Well, out of all the task that I've set out to do, I've managed to settle only a few so far, and i doubt that i will be able to finish the rest within this week as i will be goin to Singapore from tomorrow onwards till sunday, which means the end of my break...Lets see, those that i cant finish during the week are:-

3) format n setup desktop
- havent purchase new desktop, thus the old one will still remain as is for now...

4) update resume n start hunting
- resume updated, but yet to start the hunting process...

5) watch all the series/animes that was in my hdd since god-knows-when
- finished MONK till season 6 and some animes that been hogging my hdd...

6) diet/workout more
- routinely performed but still trying to find the results...sigh...

7) send car for servicing
- looks like i will have to ask dad to send it during my trip, since i will need it to be nice and ready when i drive down to johor for work next week...

As for those task that I've managed to kill off:-

8) catch-up with some old frens
- managed to have a Astoo gang mini gathering of those that are still around. We name ourself Astoo as last time our class was 4/5 Science 2 => 5S2 => S2 > Astoo...cant recall who started using this word though, mebe i should check with the rest next time...
- attended a wedding ceremony and dinner for my primary classmate KwangJet. Was called upon for Brotherhood duty, though nothing serious was played (thankfully) by the bride's side. Had a great time chatting along with the rest of the old buddies as its really been a while since the last gathering...Congrats to the newlyweds and may their marriage last forever...

2) cleanup my room
- room cleanup might be a simple task for alot of people, but not for me, especially when it involves in re-arranging my comics shelves...have to throw away a big bunch of comics as they were on the bottom of the shelf and were soaked during last time's "aquarium-breakdown-mini-room-flood" situation. Oh well, at least that paved the way for new comics to be roomed into...haha... also managed to cleanup my desk, cabinet and as well as the closet...did all this till 3am in the morning, all in 1 days work...talk bout a tiring job...

1) re-scape my aquarium(s)
- my old aquarium was in a mess, as i was lazy in trimming and maintaining it since umm...i think feb...As my aquarium is a planted tank, it has become a jungle in there, making it extremely hard to take out all the plants as well as fishes (not much of the old bunch left as they died off due to my lack of maintenance)...well, it took me 3 days just to cleanup the old tank, take out everything, wash/clean and re-scape and re-plant the whole aquarium.
- Also managed clean my mini tank next to my desktop as well as let loose my soft-shelled-turtle Taman Aman, as i feel that the tank is getting too small for it's size...
- After all the hassle of setting up all the tanks, it's time for me to go bankrupt on getting all the fishes again. Bunch of cardinal tetras, golden pencil fish, ghost cat fish, oto and siamese algae eater, cherry barbs, kuhli loach and 4 young discus...
- Save up on accessories $$ as i DIY on a few of the planted aquarium necessities, namely the CO2 generator, CO2 reactor and bubble counter summing up less than RM30 to make as compare to the purchase of actual CO2 generator (RM350++), CO2 reactor (RM40) and bubble counter (RM15), saving me a whopping RM375++ at least...Of cos being DIY, the CO2 Generator needs to be replaced with new yeast mixture solution on monthly basis as compared to pressurized CO2 gas cylinder...

Oh well, thats more or less bout what i've completed so far, hoping now that the new discus fish that i've bought will survive thru this week as they are still adapting to the tank and are not eating yet...well, looks like i can only worry bout that after i come back from Singapore...

I m officially starting my long awaited 2 weeks leave after the nightmarish softdrink company job. Lotsa things on my mind that i wanna do, yet also feel like just resting n sleeping it through to re-energized myself again, talk bout dilemma...oh well, at least i am having an enjoyable dilemma..haha

oh well, gotta start putting up a list of to-do's and shall see how much i've accomplish after 2 weeks...

Well, its sort of a optical illusion thingy, whereby some will see it clockwise and some anticlockwise and some can even switch their mindset so that they can see both.

I started off seeing only the clockwise version, but slowly i saw the anticlockwise version. But its still abit hard to switch the vision thought process to see different direction instantly...

okay okay, i admit i have been extremely lazy in updating this blog...it's oni been 4 months since my last posting...oh well, since there are some concern/complaints on this lazyness, here i am again, updating it now..satisfied? haha...joking la, i actually meant to update the blog asap (really, i did), but as things comes n goes, it just fell off my mind totally...part of getting old i guess...

well, let me see, its been 4 month, so heres what had happened:-

Well, 1st of, i was thrown into a project codename "ICECREAM". Its a rather silly codename that came about due to the fact that the my name is JERRY n my colleague's name is BEN, so together we formed "BEN & JERRY" the icecream brand. Another reason is tat my boss doesn't like the original codename of "KANCIL", so he decided to go with this instead. But thx to this, we did get a bit of consolation of having that ice cream at the start of the project, and trust me, this is the oni consolation we had as this was one heck of a job to complete.

In between the jobs (i tink in end June), i took part in the Intra-EY games - basketball 3on3 challenge. We formed a team from our TSRS division, consisting of me, ben, kevin n joseph which i've chosen the team name "The Slackers" to represent us. I was still partially recovering from my hand injury, so the main bulk of scoring n playing was by my team mates, and kudos to them, we managed to secure a gold medal as a farewell gift for joseph whom was leaving us for better pasture at another company.

After "ICECREAM", i embarked on another trip to China, Qingdao, the place where beer is relatively cheap n nicer to drink. I was given a nice suite partially becos client tot that i was a manager (i went with the FA Manager with surname Chan as well), and this suite have a kinky glass wall bathroom, which needs a little bit of getting used to while bathing. I was there the previous year, so not much visiting was done this round, partially also due to the fact that i was bed-ridden for 4 consecutive days with diarrhea. Oh well, at least i get a nice hefty 'szechuan' style meal (courtesy of client of cos) be4 we came back. And of cos, since its a beer re-knowned place, there were plenty of drinking as the client was very skillful aka generous in the beer drinking toasting session.

hmm...next on the list was my company's group trip, which we had such a wonderful (butt acheing as well) journey of 8 hours bus ride to Marang Jetty to embark to Gem Island (next to Kapas Island). Talk about how small the world is, i met a high school fren of mine at the island itself. All and all, the island was nice, the beach was relaxing and the trip was enjoyable enough. And of cos all these was laid down with beer drinking at the eventful nights themed with 'Jersey' and 'Hawaiian'. Funny thing is that somehow, i was pushed up for best dress candidate for Jersey night and i ended up with winning the Tower Records voucher for it. I was supposed to help in organizing it, but as i was bz with outstation engagement, the other commies were helpful enuf to cover my role, so my sincere thx to them for making this such a fun trip.

Well, after all the fun n games, its all back to work. But probably its the wedding season, so i've attended 2 wedding dinners in 2 consecutive weeks n more will be coming up soon as well...which mean its 'broke' season for me...

Oh and not to forget, another few very good fren/colleague of mine is also leaving/left the firm, our TSRS GG (Gentle Giant) and Gary. Come to think of it, its like a timing trend, 1 by 1 from my batch are leaving/left, mebe and hopefully the next one will be me...not that i don't like working here, but mebe there are better life n future elsewhere, just waiting for me to get started....but till then, i will still be stuck here...

1...2...thats the number of months that i havent log into this blog to do anything at all...its considered good enuf that i can still remember the login name n password..haha

sigh...2 months had gone by just like tat...

Was lucky enuf to be thrown into an engagement that flew me off to Shanghai, yet it was relli an extremely tiring job, working from morning till midnite on a daily basis including weekends. Only time that we get to lepak was during the hours that we went out for food, which we then browse around the nearby shops in search of our big boss's dvd titles.

Work, although tiring, is actually not relli tat tough, mainly tedious and somewhat exciting and fun in a way. We were to do some investigative type of work, thus we need to cover our true intentions especially while doing interviews, coming out with all sort of reasons in order to buy the trust of the interviewee, although i doubt that they believe in our story..haha

Visited the Shanghai Bund, with the bright lighted scenery and cold weather, its best suited for couples, which alot can be seen hugging n kissing in the middle of the road like nobody's business. Not that its a sight, i just thought that china was a more conservative minded nation, but looks like i was dead wrong..haha

Pirated DvDs were extremely cheap there, RMB5 per piece equivalent of our RM2.5 a disc. Even in Penang oso the cheapest you can get is RM4 a piece, which is the reason y alot of us brought a bunch back.

Food wise, everything is extremely oily, but nice and not to mention that they are rather cheap(even fruits which a whole bunch of strawberries is oni less than RM5). We ate a lot there to keep ourself warm as it was very windy and cold (bout 10 or less degress and due to that we did not prep enuf thick clothing), thus i have become rounder when i got back, and which is the reason y the 1st phrase i heard from my frens and colleague is "Eh? Rounder/Fatter/Chubbier already wor!"...sigh...must do more running since i cant play basketball anymore due to a ligament tear at the thumb that is taking ages to heal...

Oh well, now that i am back,i guess i relli need to do more workout and try (hard) to get back into shape. I wonder if that OSIM(or OTO or OGAWA)u-zap thingy works or not, then tat mebe can help me cut back down my round round tummy..haha

N73me - Just lovin it...

Hav been fiddling alot on my new pet/gadget - 'N73me', and i found that the more i play with it, the more satisfied i am with this spurge of $$$.

This fone is truly a combo gadget with all kinds of functionalities packed under 1 housing. Its a smartphone, 3.2mpx camera, 2gb sized mp3 and video player (although the screen is just 2.4 inch), boredom killing gaming device (which support some rather nice 3D graphics), ebook reader and more, just as long as i am able to get hold of the *registration-not-needed* version of softwares to put in. Only cons that i can think of is the lag to switch between stuff and turning on the camera and the tiny (at least for my fingers) keypad. Oh ya, there is also a bug on the galery shortcut button on the side of the phone. Apart from these, the rest are reasonable, acceptable or satisfying...hehe

It's just a week over CNY, and i have injured my right hand again...this time, a sprain on my thumb to be more precise...doing things without involving the thumb is harder then i think, try grabbing hold of things without using your thumb (strength) and you will know what i meant.

Come to think of it, my right hand is extremely injury-prone. If not mistaken, i think it is more or less like this:-

>> Sprain (wrist,thumb,fingers)- at least more than 10 times
>> Broken Bones - 3 times
>> Operations - 2 times (involving inserting a aluminum screw n then removing it)

talk about track records...lol...

I still remember that while i was in china, i went to this place called 'Lao' Mountain, where there is a Taoist temple. I went for the fortune telling, and the Taoist monk that look at me was at the age 80-90 years old. He was telling my fortune by looking at my face structure and he was actually quite good. 1 thing i still remember is that, he managed to tell me that i have a lot of injuries on my right hand, and he say that this is all shown on my face, pointing to the upper point of my nose structure...so maybe it is true, my injuries on my right hand is due to my fate...ahah...who knows...

Oh well, another few weeks without basketball and back to jogging again...just hope that this is just a minor sprain and not like the one i had on my wrist that lasted for half a year+...sigh...

damn...just my luck...bad luck...

I was in 1U on sat, went there to catch a movie with my buddies, by the time i came out, my car was scratch by some vandals. A few long scratch marks were found on both side of my car, from from to back, and some of it were so deep it has eaten off the paint job. Have checked on the price to fix it, the foreman say it will need about 500+ to respray both side of my car as just touching up the scratches will not be as nice and i might as well just let it be. Guess i will just have to find ways to live with an eye sore till its time to do an overall paint job...sigh..

On Sunday noon, i was at Tesco, helping my mom with some CNY shopping. On our way to our car, while we were heading down the escalator, i overheard a plain-cloth inspector telling the guard to beware of thieves. The inspector then stop a middle aged man, checking through his shirt and asking him to wait a side next to the guard while he check on another passerby. As the man walk to the guard, suddenly he sprinted down the escalator, which at that time my mom and i was still halfway on it. That guy nearly bang down both of us as he was sprinting down, dashing his way off to the crowd below. The inspector on top can only shout and scold, without even giving a hint of a chase at all...

On Sunday night, i was too tired to continue on my work, so i set the alarm to wake me up at 4 so i can finish off my work. I was using my phone as my alarm, and at that time, the phone was still fully charge. But somehow, the battery died off and i missed the alarm. After checking, apparently somehow the camera lid was left open, thus draining all the battery and shutting it down automatically. Thankfully my mom was aware and woke me up at 6, and i still managed to finish up a certain amount of work before actually going for work...

Sigh, already lighted some incense and pray to the gods/ancestor to clear off my bad luck... Hopefully things will be better as CNY comes along...

by the way, if anyone have any ways of fixing scratches cost effectively, please let me know...thanks...

New found joy...N73 Music Edition

Yay! Finally something to be happy about in this miserable month of january.

I have finally bought myself the phone that i have always been craving about for the past 2-3 months, ask Edna, she knows...haha

Oh well, its worth the wait anyway as now i can get hold of the music edition of Nokia N73 rather than the normal one. Few things differs for both of them, 1 is that the Music Edition is BLACK, which is much nicer looking than the rest. 2ndly, it comes with 2 gb memory, saving me the trouble of getting an upgrade from the measly 128mb card in the normal set. 3rd one is that it also comes with a remote controlled earphone set.

Didn't really have much time to fiddle with all the functions available yet, and rather sad cos my old applications that i used on my 6600 cant be reinstalled as they differ in the symbian 60 version. Damn, now i have to start searching all over the net again for all the cracked version of those applications.

Oh well, at least i am now a slightly happy man when coming to the near end of january, which is also the starting of gloomy-february since most of my jobs can't seem to end yet meaning in which most of them will span across to next month...

i tell u, it's JINXED.....damn...

Dammit, my car broke down today while i am on my way back from melaka. Thankfully it was be4 i got pass the toll, else it would be more troublesome than it already had.

Somehow, the rubber hose that connects the water tank to the engine (i think) broke, thus my car heated up as water cant pass through it to cool down the engine. Unwillingly, my car died down on me in the middle of a cross junction. I have no idea where i am as there are no roadsigns/signboards at all for me to identify the location. Thankfully some nice passersby gave me the info i needed to call my distant relatives there for help and after 2 hours of hustling n bustling, plus another hour plus of driving, i've managed to get home safely.

I really think that it's jinxed when i receive outstation jobs that needs me to drive. Further confirming my suspicion is that it only happens on the last day of work, when i start my journey back home.

2 other previous instances that had happened are:

Job in Banting - managed to avoid so many metal pieces for so many days, yet punctured my tire on the last day of work. In the end, i have to change my tire with the spare, which is partially flat (which is a good reminder to you all, please inflate your spares and check their conditions from time to time), and i have to drive extremely slow and carefully for another 15 km before able to find a petrol station to fix it up.
Job in Penang - both front tires and car alignment gone haywire while on my way back. Have to drive extremely slow and cautious as the weather decide to dump heavy rain on me. Furthermore, need to change both tires and do some maintenance after coming back, which cost big bucks.

Thats 3 breakdown out of 3 outstation driving jobs, and which is why in the end i have come to this conclusion, i am just NOT meant for outstation jobs that needs me to drive. sigh...

But flight wise, i dont mind at all..haha

omg...what a crazy month this january will be...i am stuck with 10 different jobs, all with the same deadline, which is within this goddammit-remaining-about-20-odd-days month...really wonder how am i gonna be able to finish all of them in time...

sometimes i really wonder, what the hell is wrong with the planning at the management level, and also why the hell would those stupid FAs come and request for work only at the last possible minute, and without any idea the impact on our side, just kept on adding n adding n adding the scope... i understand that they will need to rely on our work for assurance, but can't they come to us earlier so the stupid deadline wont be in such short duration? can't they make up their mind on what they need rather than try their luck with us on a last minute notice? all because they have their own targeted deadline to meet, they will make a request for work to be done in such short duration, ignoring the fact it's a last minute request and we are all pre-occupied with other jobs, as if they didn't know that the number of staff in our department is probably 10 times less than theirs....damn

damn..this month is really getting on my nerves...damn...

its really been a long while since i last posted on my blog...

so many things has passed since then, such as rushing myself from jobs to jobs (as usual), cramming my thick as hell manual n questionnaire database for my CISA examination which now i have to further suffer for 3 months b4 being able to noe the results, getting older but not wiser, drove back n forth penang with a pair of bared wheels which is extremely dangerous n hard to control when raining, gain some (or mebe more) weight which doesn't show on the scale yet on the pics that i took, etc etc n etc...

tiring yet relieving n enjoyable at the same time...

anyway, just came back from my xmas outing, not that i m a christian, but still its a holiday n its meant for enjoying nonetheless...crammed in some lobstahh n turrkeyy (yumm...) which i am sure as hell it will end up adding another notch on the scale, guess i have to jog 2 rounds instead of 1 next week. took a bunch of pics with my gf at midvalley too eventhough the decos ain't that nice compared to the previous year, dint managed to took any pics last year so ain't gonna miss the chance this year...

after today, i will be getting a week off from work, with nothing much to do apart from slacking at home since my gf n all my frens are working...talk about getting a real break...sigh, 2 years has gone by since i started working, probably its time for me to do a little self assessment at this lil break...

come to tink of it, i relli felt tat i did quite a number of things wrong, some stupid some not, some which can be avoided n some might not...alot of things i can do better but yet i did not as i am such a lazy bugger...but yet some how the lazyness is always stuck to me, but probably its time i have to start diggin it off me or else i will be diggin for my own shithole for my future...

there are alot of ppl i have came to know off, and quite often some might be offended one way or another by me...sometime i just dun get ppl, n sometime i just take them for granted...mebe this is the point where i have to review on my personality as well, n see just where i flaw in...

frens, i have a lot, or mebe i can just say i know a lot of ppl, but are we really frens? sometimes, being 'frens' only means tat if u needed something from me, u will look for me, else the rest of the time i m totally absent from the thought...sigh, my life is becoming more quiet n lonely nowadays as more n more of my true frens are no longer around...mebe its the way i communicate, or rather that i dint communicate, which might be a reason how frens just become as ppl you know of...

sigh...how shall i change?? how shall i 'upgrade' myself?? wat shud i do??...mebe only time will tell...i hope...

arghh... just so lazy to do anything after i came back from china. It's already been a week+ but i still havent gotten into gear to actually start work or to do any other things, such as blogging or even clearing my baggage, *yes, its still laying around in my room with some of this n that in it... would have posted this blog earlier during my stay in china if the stupid china's ISP had not blocked all access to blogspot's pages, which according to my fren was due to that some of the blogger's post are deemed offensive and contains illicit materials..utter rubbish...

Anyway, had a wonderful time in china, thanks to some newly made frens as well as some old buddies. Spent 2 weeks goofing around at work in QingDao with 3 cheerful financial auditors (FAs) - carine, cheryl n sooyinn - and a bunch of friendly n helpful client. Had spent the final non-stop-walking-week in beijing, bunking into cheeming n sally's newly rented house.

QingDao, or TsingTao as you all are more familiar with the beer rather than the place, is a very scenic and relaxing place. Its a place where you will wanna stay after you have retired. It's cooling weather (about 20 degrees) even during summer n under the bright sunlight, it's sandy beach stretches, its cheap food (various seafood, dumplings...) and beverages (laoshan green tea, tsingtao beer, red wine...) are all part of it's attractions. Too bad i left by a week earlier, else i wud be just in time for their annual international beer festival, where all the beer makers around the world are drawn here for the big frenzy... Had been doing some sightseeing around (alone as sadly the rest of the FAs need to work) n some shopping. The FAs dint go for much sightseeing but they had their fair share in shopping, especially at clients place. As how they put it, they are helping the client's growth apart from auditing them. Well, they surely had 'HELP' alot...hehe

As for Beijing, i came here by my own account, taking a few days off after QingDao's job before flying back to M'sia. Thankfully Cheeming n Sally was able to offer me a room at their newly rented house. They themself just move in about less than a month's time and i have already crashed in. Luckily, Beijing's weather is considerably good as normally it would be scorching hot, but when i was there, it was cooling as it was their rainy season. So i dint get my hot sun but i did get some drips of rains to spoil my walk. Visited a few tourist spot alone, which all requires huge amount of walking, such as the Forbidden Palace, BeiHai Park, TianTan Monumental Park and some shopping haven such as WangFuJing street, SiuShuiJie street and TaShiLa street. Forbidden Pallace took me 6 hours to kill off only their main visiting area while the parks also took me 4 hours at least to kill it off. Oh well, at least the walking helped in brushing off some of the weights i gained at QingDao...

Went to the Great Wall with CheeMing n Sally on Saturday. We chose the ShiMaTai stretch as it was considered to be the best stretch as it was not fixed much and was left as it is, and another important factor is tat its not full of tourist. Got on the 1 day trip, which we sat 3 hours of bus to the Wall. We were only allocated 3 hours for the climbing, so to safe us time, we took the cable car and mini train up the mountain before we actually hike up to the wall. There were a total of 16 towers in this stretch, but we were only able to go to 12 tower as the last few towers, which is supposed to be the nicest n tallest n known as 'Stairways to Heaven', was closed down as it was considered to be too dangerous to be set foot on. There was a police on duty and when asked, he can accept 'bribe' and bring us over, but he was too greedy so we pull off the deal. So down we went on the sliperry n uneven n sometime broken steps, from the 12 tower to the ground. Scenery was fantastic if not for the fact i have height fobia, i might've enjoyed it even more...oh well, have conquered another 1 of the wonders of the world, so its another 3 hours of butt numbing bus ride back to town.

Hmm...seems like the lazy me had actually written quite a lot...haha..oh well, time to get back to being lazy again...pics will come in gradually when i got the time again...

After a dreadful 7 hours butt numbing flight from klia to beijing + another hour from beijing to qingdao, i can finally settle down. Been sleeping most of the time during both flight cos dint sleep at all due to watching Germany kicking portugal ass. The supposingly 6 hour flight from msia to beijing was delayed midflight due to some china airforce military practice, forcing us to delay our time by flying in circles (as according to the captain). After we landed, we were rushed (relli forced to run inside the airport by the china airlines personnel) to checked in as our transfer flight will be flying off very soon. When we finally landed in QingDao airport, another problem arise as somehow our roaming service is not connected, thus we cant call up our contact person here. Luckily we met a nice uncle who is here on business trip and borrowed his cellphone, and we are off to our hotel. Phew...such dramatic flight...hehe

QingDao weather is quite nice, rather cooling as the temperature is at 20-25 most of the time. The best thing is tat we got ourself a rather nice hotel to stay in. This hotel is right next to the beach, but too bad i dint get the seaview room. After having my dinner which is some korean food restaurant name TuDaRi (direct translation mean EARTH STRONG??) which was actually not bad, or mebe due to tat i am just starving having to survive on airplane meals throughout the day.

Ahh...after a nice shower, i am now happily waiting for the Worldcup finals to start. Just gonna heck it on tomolo 1st day of work as i noe most of the time will be mainly to understand stuff rather to do actually work. haha..hope Italy win tonite...

CHS Carnival...memories flying back to my mind...

Just went back to my highschool yesterday with my gf as the school was having a carnival. Its been some time since i last went back in there. So many things looks so familiar yet so distant. Cant believe that i have graduated for almost 7 years, time relli does fly past you in a jiffy.

The carnival was nearing its end when i went in, so most of the food n performances were over. The students were having food n thingy sales around the school as each classroom were designed by each clubs n society to present themself. We went around the school from top to bottom, classroom by classroom. Many warm memories flew back into my mind. I noticed that the logo n wordings in front of the school main notice board have been changed, even the notice board itself have been tored down. Saw some juniors of mine there too but dint relli see much familiar faces on the teachers side. Only teacher i can still recognize is Tan Lin, EL Wong, ABangLee and 1 or 2 that i cant even remember their name.

I oso went back to my Lembaga Ketua Tingkatan's room, but sadly its in such a bad state, such a messy room, I wonder what the hell is the current president doing slacking away n not keeping the room in good shape. I still remember that we had such a hard time to get that room last time, n we work hard to decorate the small plot of land in from, now its just full of weeds. sigh..kids nowadays...

Sigh, how nice if i am still studying, enjoying life with my frends, playing basketball in the hot sun at 12noon and lining up for class in fully sweated uniform...those were the days, those were relli the most enjoyable days....

Sigh, 2 of my managers are leaving the company for better life elsewhere, not that i am complaining much here, i am actually happy for them. The thing is that my company is just not acknowledging the fact that retaining people is an important factor to grow. More n more new people are coming in, but yet they just dont hav the same experience n knowledge as well as the knack yet to be able to take over the role of those leaving, thus the hellhole becomes deeper as we are continued to be overworked while the underpayed part stays on as well...

Well, we had our reason to drink last Saturday as we head down again to bulldog to celebrate taki n aundrie's farewell as well as kamy's bday. As usual we waited long for the food n downed in plenty of vodka. Flaming was in place for all 3 of them too. Was such a fun outing as we manage to get aundrie n taki down (or we were make to believe so) and watching germany kicking sweden down with a 2-nil performance at the same time.

But apparently, i tink we need to setup another award drinking session to present our oscar winner his tequila shots awards. His acting skills hav trully amazed (or in other words, conned) us into believing he is in quite bad condition, thus relieving him from his kryptonite-tequila shots. Wat gives him out is tat after dropping him at his car, tat guy (who was supposingly to just woke up from his drowsiness not long ago) can still drive home within 5 minits, which is why most of us feels that something fishy bout his drowsyness...lol

Mavs collapsed after game3, lost the NBA Champion title to Heats!!

NBA 2006 finishes with Heats emerging as the champion instead of my fav Mavs. Sigh...sad cos Dallas had such good chance, but i think a game 3 lost have frustrated them away from their usual game, not to mentioned that they were quite off form (especially dirk n howard) most of the games. Heat on the other hand took the 1st 2 blow from dallas and have kept their cool n went home to sweep the Mavs. Dallas just cant close down on Wade (although they manage to close down on the getting-older-Shaq). Wade is now being known as 'Jordan-esque', always closing up the last few points to help seal the games. Too bad Dirk was not able to performed up to par, else he will be the one holding the MVP trophy. There is also a fact that dallas seems to be shooting outside more rather than goin in strong to draw fouls, which resulted in miami having a huge margin over the mavs at free throws. Not to mention that the Mavs owner also raised a point on the refereing mistakes made throughout the games.

One thing to be cheerful about is that the older veterans have finally gotten hold of their championship ring. Alonzo Mourning and Gary Payton have exceptional carreer but just no ring, and now finnaly they are able to get 1 b4 their retirement. Too bad Karl Malone retired and dint try it out with the Heats, else he would too finally have a ring for his career.

Oh well, Mavs will need to take this as a challenge, as a grudge or wateva/however motivation n kick back harder next year. They are still a young team, so they have lots more chances still. Heats on the other hand will mostly lose veterans like mourning and payton (i think) on the following season, so it will be a whole diff story then as these veterans are one of the reason they won this round. So next season, Mavs will just need to improve on their toughness physically and mentally to close in on the 4th quarter, kill off the texas nemesis Spurs and frendly foe Suns and whoever else that is in the path towards vitory.

Been stuck with a shipping company for quite some time a few months ago, and when i tot that was done n over with, here i am back again for another month of work again...not to say i am complainin, the fact is that i actually quite like working here as :-

1) client are actually quite nice and friendly (apart from the few specific top guns that is)
2) being able to walk a certain distance (which alot will complain FAR..hor ednie...)to get decent meals which are not too costly (which also include my all time fav beef ball noooooodleeee..hehe)
3) able to get my comics dosage easily
4) able to jalan jalan here n there too in the gud ol' Petaling Street oso
5) and also can get nice snacks like siew pau n corn in cup easily to satisfy my hunger needs..hehe

Have brough the whole 'shipping' team to a new beef ball noodle shop recently, apart from the famous one near RHB bank, this shop is a rather small little place located opposite of Lai Foong bus stop. The noodle n beef there oso not bad, n vivien n jeanne even giv it a thumbs up over the famous one. For me, i like both ler, each got its unique taste, even the one in Lai Foong that is soup based oso quite nice.. or mebe i am just a beef meat fetish, so i cant differentiate the taste much ler n sapu everything oni..hahah..dun care lar, just eat oni...

Well, ships out n in come 'CARS' from pixar, watched this movie last week n it really was hillarious. although its a known fact that pixar is good, but really dint expect tat much when i watch the trailer last time. But well, had a gud laugh thruout the movie, including the short clip that they will surely have b4 the movie starts as well as the ending part where they show some shorts with cars takin over roles of toys story, bugs life n other pixar animations...i myself especially like this little fella called guido, damn cute little guy..haha

well, 'cars' over but the 'ship' will still need to sail for a while more, next up will be airplane?? hahah....hopefully i am able to get that job which i can fly to china..then it will be relli nice...ahah...

YES!!! Mavs finally got hold of the Western Conference Champion title, defeating the arch enemy spurs n revenging a grudge from last year's lost against the suns. This is the first time the Mavs are entering the NBA Finals. They will be having the final showdown with the other final's first-timer -> Miami Heat. Tough time ahead as they face up with Shaq, Wade n the team of veteran star players.

Dirk is just phenomenal, kicking in another 20pts-10rbd performance after scoring 50points in the previous game. Josh howard also continues the trend of his 20pts-sure-win performance, Jason Terry n Jerry Stackhouse also consistently put up some huge number as the Mavs rally from 18 point deficit to claim the title, not to miss out on Devin Harris whom hav relli been a factor in winning all these games n reaching the NBA Finals, especially during the Mavs-Spurs game.

Even though i also like the suns too due to the way they play n oso due to the fact that they have Steve Nash, who is a former mavs tat is part of the great triangle-> Dirk, Nash n Finley. But even with his mvp performance, the suns are just not the same without bell (at his full strength) n amare. So better luck next year for them.

Sigh...Holidays always seems to go past in a flash, n i am already back from taiwan for more than 2 weeks. Feel so lazy to start work or do anything, which explain y this blog came out so late..ahah

Holidaying in taiwan was extremely fun n relaxing. We followed a (rather expensive)travel agency (GTT) travelling round the island, starting from taipei to gaohsiung,hualien...then back to taipei, all n all in 8 days (actually 6 days exact cos the 1st n last day was mostly stuck in the plane). Wohooo, just had a pretty good week, was having sum time off at work as i was assigned to only help out some colleagues to do 1 test and pretty much to charge my time there as all my other jobs couldn't start. Also had a blast celebrating few colleagues birthday at zouk by drinking alot n moving around (with my limited n weird dance move) at the dance floor...haha

friday was a public holiday, so pretty much slept thru it and mahjong at nite again at the gamblers 'den' (or better known as zepin's house..haha), played till quite early the next morning and supposed to go for a swim (apart from the dry swimming just 3 hours ago), but too bad kelana swimmin pool was closed down for the month, so dint manage to get any excercise at all, and after a heavy lunch with sum colleagues at Ipoh Road Yong Tau Foo, i already felt tat i gain on some weight...FAT FAT FAT, need to get some excercise goin on again. Nite time came again and we hit back to the gambler's den again for another round of mahjong...(how nice if dry swimmin is also a sort of excercise..sigh)...

Finally manage to get my excercise this morning, wanted to sleep in the afternoon but yet again, guess wat?? yup, dry swimming again..ahahah...luckily this gambling habit oni occurs when my fren come back from working abroad once every few months, so i am still not reaching the level of a habit gambler yet..ahha

YAYYYYYY, my leave officially starts now, n will span for 2 weeks..haha..will be off to Taiwan for a relaxing 8 days trip with my gf n some of her frens. Wonder wat is there to do apart from eating, eating n eating there...looks like i need to do a full scale diet n excercise routine when i come back from the eating spree...sure get even fatter when i come back...ahah

Just went for a movie few days ago called "Failure to Launch" staring Matthew-how-u-spell-his-name n Sarah Jessica Parker (sumhow her eyes just reminds me alot of jennifer aniston..hmm??)...

Its bout (WARNING: SOME MOVIE SPOILER HERE) some guys in the mid 20s-30s still living with their parents n dont want to move out, leaving the parents no choice but to hire a profesional to lure the guy to move out by having a relationship with him. The syndrome of still living with the parents is known as "failure to launch", meaning tat the particular person is not confident or due to some other reason n not yet ready to move out of their parents coverage (or house). well, as usual since its a love comedy, all things end up with the hired gf end up fallin for the guy n things got mess up n both their best fren (who r goin out with each other due to a funny intervention) n the parents helping them to mend the relationship. Not bad still for a light setting love comedy in overall..good for some laughter after a stress day of work...

Just wondering, am i oso 1 of them that are suffering from the syndrome since i m still staying with my parents... Its not tat i dont want to move out, its just tat i dun have the capabilities of moving out n staying independantly (not to mention tat since my work place is so near my house, its a total nutcase if i need to move out n stay even nearer to my office)...oh well, just hav to wait my time till having the opportunities n capabilities to move out n live independantly (with more freedom as well)...haha

So till then, it will still be the same'ol "Mom, Wats for dinner??" story...ahha

NBA playoff round 2...

Finally the week is over, n so goes for the NBA playoff round 1, n thankfully all 3 teams that i supported is still in the running...

Dallas Maverick is doin a terrific job, clean-sweeping the memphis 4-0 with Dirk averaging 30pts pergame...next on will be the texas showdown with SA Spurs. This time i think mavs will have much better chance of turnin the table n getting it back on the spurs...they are well rested n hav recovered from injuries while the spurs are tired n getting new injuries. so its now or neva for the mavs.

NJ Nets did a great job beating the pacers, they hav a great playoff game, but if not for peja being out of the game due to injury, the nets might have a tougher time beating them or even losing to them...but oh well, luck is part of the game as always. next stop will be the Miami Heat, taking on shaq n wade n a bunch of old folks...dun tink anyone is able to do a hack-a-shaq judging by the size of the team, but then again, probably they can outrun shaq n make him tired himself out with the dynamic trio...we'll see as the game proceeds...

lastly the Phoenix Suns, which gave me quite a scare...they were down 3-1 to the lakers but manage to rally back up n whallop the LA Lakers on game 7, spoiling the supposingly-to-be all LA showdown. All thanks to Nash, who will be accepting the MVP award again for the 2nd time. Not many team managed to rally back from a 3-1 deficit, but then again, not many have a 2 time MVP on their team (not to mention they also have boris diaw carrying the most improved player award). Next up will be the LA Clippers, which actually did quite well this season with elton brand, chris kaman n sam cassel, but still, they are facing the Suns, so sorry to say, but i tink it will be bye bye clippers...

Just manage to finish thru a mad week.

Things started with the crazy job to review on a "i neva seen so much mess compiled together" system that i have to let go of both my sunday n wednesday basketball session to focus on it. everything is just goin wrong in tat system, n probably i will still be thrown there to do further data analytics work on it...lets just pray hard this wont happen...n pray hard that work scheduling wont mess up my leave period as i am relli looking forward for that break...

Next came cheryl's farewell, never had i b4 in my entire term of working here have i seen her in such bad shape from drinking..haha..probably we just werent trying hard enough back in those times. oh well, mission accomplished..haha..hope tat she enjoyed the hangover we gave her n remember us more then ever..although i noe she will...

Friday came with a punch on this old frame of mine. i went back to my high school for a game of basketball with some of the old pals. havent been back for umm..2 years mebe? but the newly built indoor basketball court is relli relli nice, reminds me of the one they had in saujana jap school. met up with ppl i havent seen for ages like hanwai, hannseng, kokcheat,wailoong,kangchin,wenhan n pohyuen..i was relli lazy to go if not the fact a junior of mine (that is working in tas now) asked me to join them..mebe i shudn't hav joined them also as i was litterally the lausiest player there when playing with these ppl who are the schoolteam players of my batch, my senior batch n my junior batch. oh well, mebe its a good training for me for the upcoming iafg this year..but 1st i hav to deal with a full body ache n muscle stiffness for 2 days..haha

Then came saturday which i met up with my msce coursemates. Went to Tai Thong for dimsum promotion which we ate like mad but end up paying quie reasonably. too bad i heard the promo is ending. sigh..SiewToh is getting married (*congrats*), n she mentioned that she had made reservation for the hotel ballroom since last year. She said some hotels are even booked for this year n next year for certain dates..OMG booking of 2 year in advance...madness...We went for movie - THE WILD after lunch. It reminded me of madagascar (since they both hav lion n giraffe) but in a diff twist of story plot. After that, went to chilis with my gf for a so called light snack at 4+ which ended up watching NBA there till 6+, seeing my PhoenixSuns lose to the damn lakers and leaving me with a full stomach that caused me to skip my dinner...sigh..

Sunday is TomYam n Mahjong day with colleagus..went all the way to segambut for this tomyam noodle which is -to me- quite spicy. but i like the fact its full of small oyster (or mussels) n sotongs n lalas (n i hav the value added bowl with extra sotongs as most of my colleague have dumped theirs to me..hehe)..with a bloated stomach full of noodles n 2+ glass of water, we went back to my house to start on the MJ session. i tink we will have another MJ kaki comin up as CY was slowly learning her way thru. haha..the more the merrier..

finally, the week is over..n i am able to get some rest..just woke up n had my lunch..tink i am just gonna go back to bed now n continue my sleeping madness..wahahah

Last sat was a crazy nite as we were all crazily celebrating the LazyBum Grandmaster's birthday.

It all started off at Itallianies which moved on to Slippery for drinks. We have tried our best to get that guy drunk, 8 shots of weird naming drinks + a flaming n we still couldn't get him down...his response is oni "i feel bloated with all these water in my tummy"...

sigh...if oni my information have come a day or two earlier...the next morning only i noe bout taki's deadspot on liquor --> TEQUILA shots. As according to my information source, he cant tahan tequila n will go tipsy after 1 or 2 shots. Haih, wasted our chance, but since we noe bout it now, theres still plenty of chances in the near future to get him down..wahhaha...

After slippery, we all went on for a full swing noise making at redbox, ranging from boyband to galband,oldies to alternatives, malay songs to chinese songs as well. We even have our own M2M (kev n taki) as well as beauty n the beast/aladdin cosplay in between.

Such fun time. oh well, so who's next on the celebration list??

NBA '05-06 regular season matchup finally over... now its PLAYOFF time..

The '05-06 nba regular season is over n playoff is comin into the radar screen, thankfully all 3 of my fav team are in the running again. The 3 team that i like best are Dallas Mavericks (the one i favor the most), New Jersey Nets as well as Phoenix Suns.

With Dirk locking up inside n bombing from outside, josh howard doing his stealth athlethic moves n JT swishing his 3s, i'll bet that dallas hav even bigger chances of winning it this year.

With the dynamic trio of JKidd, Vinsanity and RJ, this team will surely pack a punch in the eastern conference games. Wonder if JKidd can rack up more triple double during these games...

Phoenix Suns
With last year MVP Steve Nash carrying out the fast paced attack plan n the Matrix racking up his usual double double, n with everyone else bombarding from downtown, this will be one heck of a team to mess with...

Hoping hard that all 3 of my fav teams can tapau their opponents in the 1st round, but we will only noe how things goes once the playoff unwraps....so lets just wait...

DREAMS...just had quite a crazy yet interesting dream, but just cant seem to recall wat isit now...i tink its has sumthing to do with staying at a sandy village, at some dodgy lil' shack where the bathroom door cant even be locked...then they hav this weird toilet bowl that shape like umm...cant remember...hhaha

anyway, i dreamt alot everytime i sleep...some ppl hav dream-less sleep, but me, i tink 90% of my sleep, i will surely hav a dream or 2, which i heard was quite bad cos ur brain is not getting any rest at all...

As for my dreams, they were very random (random era, encounter, scary, deadly...etc), feel kinda like in a rpg game where you are now someone else, doing something that you neva noe you could... some were even de-javu dreams, which later you encounter it again n feel like "hey, i tink i dreamt of this place/done this b4 even though its this is the 1st time"...

And i wonder y you can remember the dream clearly right after you wake up, but it will fade away somehow no matter how hard u try to retain the memory...weird...its like the dream was some sort of sightings into the future which was forbidden n was intentionally erased from ur memory...

oh well, for the fun of it, just give some comments on wat is ur weirdest/funniest/scariest/etc dreams tat you had (and still managed to remember it...)

sigh..been working like mad lately...but still reasonably happy cos i've managed to squeezee some time over the weekend to fix my fish tank (that i have abandoned for past 2 weeks, leading to some dead fishes n a few rotten plants, which is abit upsetting as i've spent quite some effort on growing them)...oh well, lets just wait n see how well my new batch of plants will grow this time...but none the less, at least there 1 less fuss off my mind for now...

Hmm...finally created my own blog.

Reason? i have no idea..probably due to peer pressure (most of my colleagues have one...haha) or probably because i have nothing else better to do after going home from work...anyway, it does look like a good way to vent ur frustrations sumtimes (again this is wat i learn from my colleagues..) and for sharing of ur latest gossips, gadgets, fotos and yada yada yada...

Well, the blog is created already, yet i am still lazy to find out where to host all my pics (for fotoalbum type) as well as all the other things u can do, so u all out there, give me ur ideas la..just to lazy to go search myself lar...haha
